Torch Cannabis Co. was first founded as a provisioning center in Central Lake. We are excited to announce that we are working on growing into a fully integrated farm to table cannabis-infused products brand nestled within Antrim County where our CEO and Founder Kelly Young was born and raised.

We are passionate about providing safe, comfortable, and convenient access to locally grown cannabis and innovative infused products. Our conveniently located retail storefront serves consumers looking for the medical and recreational benefits of cannabis. The Torch Team is specially trained to offer comprehensive guidance on cannabis-elevated holistic wellness, information on how products work, and consumption best practices.

Our world-class cannabis is sourced from our organic farming partner and independently tested for quality and purity. A central part of our mission involves innovation. Torch Cannabis Co. is committed to bringing new infused products to market, and addressing consumer need unmet by existing mainstream products. We are dedicated to broadening the overall experience of cannabis use.

We use a full-spectrum approach to create infused products with unique cannabinoid ratios suitable for any desired experience, for any level of consumer. Creating spiritually uplifting plant products that support holistic wellness and self-care are always at the heart of what we do. We also provide raw, whole plant products, which are nonpsychotropic and geared towards individuals in recovery. Our whole plant approach to product formulation is rooted in the understanding that when it comes to the many cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and other organic compounds found in cannabis, the sum of its whole is greater than any individual part.

The full-spectrum, holistic approach extends to every facet of our business. We believe cannabis plays an important role in self-care, and we know it works best in tandem with other wellness activities. Be it yoga, meditation, exercise, getting back to nature, healthy eating or quality time with friends and family, the right cannabis products can truly enhance our lived experience and well-being.

Meet Our Founder

Kelly Young is CEO, chief innovator and founding visionary of Torch Cannabis Co.

A native of Northern Michigan, Kelly is passionate about giving her community safe access to cannabis. She’s committed to providing unique infused products that support and empower holistic, plant-based wellness and recovery. Kelly brings tenured experience in sales and food-safety compliance and emboldens the approach to cannabis of being rooted in transparency, safety, and service.

Kelly started her career in cannabis in the role of President for Graceful Mobility, an extraction and packaging company for hemp and cannabis products that helped small farmers maximize profit margins. The first year as a mobile extractor led Kelly to start My TCBD, a vertically-integrated, Michigan-grown, processed, and handcrafted CBD cannabis company. My TCBD has had a presence in Northern Michigan farmers markets since 2018, and today, you can find the brand at Elk Rapids, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Boyne City.

In 2021, Kelly launched the Torch Cannabis Co. dispensary and launched the Torch Cannabis Co brand in marijuana provisioning centers across the state of Michigan in Fall of 2022. In her free time (wait….what free time?), Kelly is an avid enthusiast of boating, surfing, scuba diving, kite surfing—really any activity that has to do with water. She also enjoys golfing, downhill skiing, camping, and playing with her fur kid Prana.
